They took excellent care of my elderly father with dementia. I couldn't be happier with the level of care he received and how well they treated him in the last years of his life. They went above and beyond. Thank you so very much Joan, I am truly grateful for everything!

My father was at First Senior’s Hope for 5 months at the end of his life. From the moment he walked in the door till he took his last breath he was cared for with love, kindness and professionalism.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful, wonderful place. From the staff to the owner Joan and her wonderful husband, it was a blessing to have my father be there.

My grandma spent the last 4.5 years of her life at this adult family home. The home is cozy and feels like a home not a facility. They were attentive to her needs as a woman in her 90s with dementia. They adapted as her health/cognition declined. They treated her with dignity and respect. They talked to her and provided enrichment like music. They did everything they could to make sure she was comfortable. The director treated me like family and made holidays and birthdays special for the residents. The director is knowledgeable and has a medical/nursing background. I felt confident in her assessments. She was great at communicating with me and letting me know what my grandma needed or how I could support her. She was an advocate for my grandma. The caregivers (lots of different people throughout the years-my only complaint due to lack of a consistent person) were all kind, welcoming, patient, attentive, and helpful. It was evident that they cared about my grandma. Even when she passed away the director went above and beyond to provide support and the caregivers were comforting and helpful. I got to witness many caregivers and residents throughout the years and am confident that every resident was cared for and safe. My grandmother and her belongings were safe and everyone seemed trustworthy. It was the best decision to choose this home for my grandmother's care. I miss visiting the home and seeing the director and her family.
